In 1982, I spent the summer months living in Manhattan, walking around marveling at the architecture, and taking in the atmosphere. During my stay, I was taken aback by the beauty of the city's Art Deco architecture and ornamental designs. The photographs in this collection capture some of the most stunning skyscrapers, such as the renowned Chrysler Tower in all its grandness, as well as detailed elements like bas-reliefs on the walls of Rockefeller Center.
