From 1994 to 2000, I journeyed extensively around most of India, from Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the south to the source of the river Ganges in Uttarakhand in the north.
Photography provides great opportunities to experience situations ordinary tourists might miss. On my travels, I captured many aspects of Indian society, from religion and poverty to the marvels of architecture and nature.
With this gallery, I avoided describing specific subjects in great depth, broadly focusing on the Indian people to give the viewer space to ponder without imposing my point of view.
