Enzo Arnone

As a photographer, I am grateful to have witnessed China's tremendous progress in lifting millions of people out of poverty during my brief journey in 2018. It was heartening to see how in just a few decades, the country has undergone one of the most radical transformations in human history. Despite the incredible progress, I couldn't shake the feeling that something important has been lost along the way. Coming from someone who has travelled to India multiple times in search of an ancient atmosphere, it's not hard to see why I longed for more of China's five thousand years of history and culture.
